i wrote this for a special friend


he is a poem recited 2 me once in while.
this poem is never off beat.
with Gods own will
i listen closely not 2 miss a word or rhyme
the imagery of this piece leaves my heart beating 2 a tune that's rather enlightening
coz its not all pleasant.

he is a beautiful poem
this poem throw lines that a hard
lines that convince
if ever i have had any sense surely this poem makes lots of it.

he is an insightful poem
i see all poets great poets in this one poem
he is a poem
a poem that waves knowledge
he soothes my hunger for elevation
and when am having a day that brings out the blues in me
all i want to do is hear echoes of this poem being recited in my ear

i read him in transparent deep poems that he writes
in a strange way i meet him as a mere audience
and now i have come to connect to this poem that's very green
his sid has been planted in all that have had a bit this poem.

he is not just a poem
he is deeper than that
he goes way beyond words, lines or stanza
he is undefined
as i listen closely hoping to define him he just lose me in his poem
he is surely a work of art
a poem God granted 2 us
for all 2 listen and take note
a gifted poem
a humble poem he is

and as i continue to read poems that generate from this great poem of wonders
i realise am not even a drop in a ocean compare to this poem

this poem moisture's my eyes sometymz
and when he gets to a stanza of despair and misery and when his voice betrayz him.
i feel his despair and watch as all of us in the audience wipe our eyes.

tryna look beyond the words and am trebling with fear
coz i just cant seem to do justice to this piece
